Health Insurance

My gastroenterology services are recognised by all major health insurance providers, including BUPA, AVIVA, AXA, Cigna, WPA, and Vitality. Many other insurers will also cover appointments and care with me; if you are covered by a different insurer, please contact the team who can help you directly.

After booking your appointment, please contact your insurer to confirm your level of cover and obtain a pre-authorisation number.

Before your appointment, we will need the details of your insurer, your policy number, and your pre-authorisation. My team will then liaise directly with your insurer about payments.

SELF-PAY

Many patients choose to see a specialist and pay for their own treatment without health insurance. You can obtain a rapid consultation with a consultant, relevant tests, and treatment without the need for health insurance.

My fee for a first consultation is £325. The cost for providing a complex second opinion where additional time is needed may be higher. Follow up appointments are generally £200.

You may need diagnostic tests (including blood tests, endoscopy, or CT and MRI scans) to enable me to diagnose and treat your condition. These tests will be charged for separately by the hospital. We will provide you with estimated costs beforehand.
